Last year I had minimal expectations for the team and they won 27 games and provided some of the best the best sports memories I have from games I've witnessed in person. This year I thought we'd be a lock to make the tournament and that looks unrealistic, and the games at moody have been uninspiring.
Last year every player exceeded my expectations except Keith, who was a liability night-in, night out. This year Keith's game is drastically improved across the board and he's arguably our best offensive player, and everyone else has regressed or not improved.
Last year LB was pulling off recruiting coups and getting amazing performances out of lightly recruited players and newly integrated transfers. This year A&M got all the recruits we wanted and our transfers are busts so far.
I'm still hopeful we can turn it around, but this season has been a head scratcher so far.

I agree with many points. Keep in mind though... our step up transfers last year had a year already in the system due to transfer requirements. This year they were immediately eligible.

We have a strong recruiting class so far and it will likely only get stronger as LB and staff are per shingle several bigs to complete the class.

I think Yanick has improved a lot, just needs to get a little tougher in the paint

If we can per shingle some bigs I am happy.

I think Coach Brown is a little frustrated too.

We played these games in Garland last year, games which not many bothered to show so I would cut the team some slack. They have done a good job. Arkansas loss was like Louisville loss last year.

Noticed yesterday that it was nov 11 of last year that we housed Rhode Island by 30. Still have a ways to go

Many people forgot about that game. That was as dominate as I've seen our team look under LB. It was a flurry of steals and dunks. RI didn't have a good season but they did win at LSU and played several of the top teams in the A10 tough.
