Student ejections

Earlier in the year, I got a letter from Rick Hart via email stating that rowdy behavior towards student athletes would not be tolerated during games ... yada . . .yada ...yada. No heckling other teams, etc. I presumed the email went to all Mustang Club members. This may be the reason why Luigi and Lobster Boy were ejected and the Mob is so quiet. Just a thought.

There were clearly Monmouth parents/supporters complaining to the female sheriff's deputy tonight. Luigi and Crab are constantly giving it to the opposing coach and this is the first time they have been kicked out.

I saw it too. Saw an old Monmouth hag telling the students off and complaining. Weak. What's worse is she was texting in her phone and sitting down the whole game. Pretty sorry.

The student section has progressively gotten worse this season. I realize most students weren't back tonight but the last thing we need to do is crack down on rowdy students. That said, I realize there is a line if crossed deserves ejection but I find it hard to believe two of the best student rowdies the past year and a half crossed it. If it is true that they were ejected because Monmouth parents were complaining and they weren't being outrageously vulgar, that's total bs. Moody became a tough place to play largely because of the students led by those two.

she looked like a witch trying to kick people out more than watching the game but iur guys can cheer for the team too rather than harassing all game.

Posted in the game thread, but my friend with me at the game said a few people right behind the Monmouth bench were complaining most of the second half to the cops about the student section.
At a bar right now, but have pics of what the security was like at end of the game. It was higher than the Louisville game. There were two cops in the club section monitoring the main mob section most of the second half which is so weird because who gives a damn about them.

We no longer have a home court advantage thanks to the point system and security. It's sad

If they kick anyone out during the Wyoming game it's 100% on the kids to basically go nuts. Emails from people like me mad about it don't mean a thing. However, make the guards have to kick out, or at least try to kick out, a huge chunk of students over the course of the game, that will really make everyone mad and able to see it going on, which is the most important thing.
I think it's pathetic on SMU's part but only way is to play chicken. Gonna kick him out? Fine then you're gonna have to clear out half of this section.
