I've never really paid attention to attendance at other schools until this year. I always thought Okie St had a passionate bball fan base but tonight they are playing UNT and Gallagher-Iba is about 75% empty. I know it's a no name opponent but they are 7-0 and having a terrible football season. I figured they would be jacked up for hoops but I guess not.

Non-conference basketball games rarely have great crowds

Non conference games during holidays with students already home in some spots...equals very all crowds

I was an undergrad at UT with TJ ford etc....and maybe 1000 people at the drum in December vs a few teams

^^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^ x100.

Few reasons:

1) It's still football season
2) OOC slate is usually a bunch of [deleted] teams at home for the big boys
3) OOC in general don't do well. Cuse was at scUM tonight and the stadium wasn't completely full. It's just the way it is for whatever reason...

I remember a few years back, I went to OSU vs Florida, both were top 10 teams, early December game. Stadium was half-full, I had club level seats and couldn't give them away, face on them is about 125 a piece. Ridiculous, then fast forward to Dec. 29th, Illinois at home. Place is a sell-out and tickets are selling at 50 per for the cheap seats on the secondary market. OOC is weird in CBB.
