Ankle injury, has missed the last 4 games and might be done.

1) I know some don't like to keep up with him.
2) Stinks for him.
3) Be nice, he's in the family even if he is an in-law.

Sucks for him. I wish him all the best in the NBA.

I hope he never plays another game anywhere. One and done.

Since he is returning to Dallas to train - too bad we can't get him in the gym with our practice squad to go up against our starters in practice. Would prepare us well for UCONN and Cincy...

And when did the official story officially morph into "He opted to play professionally after failing to qualify academically for college"?

Ouch. It is entirely possible that the UA crew is at fault for what happened to the kid...

Really? Seems a bit harsh.

Not even a bit harsh. Massively harsh

Actually it's a very childish and ridiculous response. His Chinese team has already signed another PG to replace him. I doubt he plays another game there. His focus is and should be getting to 100% for draft workouts.

So what's he gonna do? Recover from the injury and practice/train on his own until the draft?

I'm sure his agent will have a team (coach & trainer) getting him ready. My guess is he will return to Dallas for training.

Dante Exum did this last year. He was picked 6th by the Jazz.

I don't really get why anyone cares. He never stepped into a classroom or on the court, he was never a Mustang, no such thing as a woulda coulda shoulda alumni. If he ends his career or is a perennial all-star, makes no difference to me. If anyone is planning on pulling the "he was our almost best commit ever!" when he is in the NBA, that's sad. Grateful he helped put us on the map, but that's the extent of my loyalty.

Had we known he was going bail on us at the 11th hour we would've gone in a different direction with recruiting. He slow played us and left us hanging out to dry.

I'm sorry to hear about his injury and I hope he recovers.
