Heading up for the game and am planning on staying over Friday. Anyone know of a good hotel close to the arena/campus that won't break the bank?

Don't know. I'm staying at Marriott Troy. It's about 30 minutes north, but it's in a nice safe area. It's the equivalent of the Northpark area of Dallas.

The Hampton Inn right on the freeway and the edge of campus is one of the better HI's I've stayed at.

Hampton Inn's are the nicest of the cheap hotels. Comfy bed, good shower heads, and free breakfast and usually always clean!

South. I-94 and State area. On Victors Way. Really good access to campus and dining around mall region.

Campus Inn (little expensive, but right on campus)
Kenington Court (right off I-94, where my parents would stay when visiting me)
Comfort Inn and Sheraton also near Kensington Court

It's also super cheap to stay right near the airport. The Day's Inn near there isn't too bad. The drive to Ann Arbor from the airport is super, super easy. Just a straight shot down I-94 West.

Let me know if y'all have any questions about Ann Arbor. I was fortunate enough to get to spend four years there.

Team is staying at Marriott Ann Arbor Ypsilanti. That's where I have reservations.

That's very close as well, just on the other side of the town. I don't have a good rec because I rarely stay overnight there unless I'm staying with friends. It's too close to my parents house to spend $200 a night on a hotel.

I'm at the Fairfield near the mall on the south side. Stayed there before. Decent place and price is sub-100 as well.
I'm in section 130. Is there a Mustang section besides the player family tickets?

Was checking today's weather (14 with wind) and noticed game day is 60% chance of wintry mix. A lot of time between now and then but not a good sign for travel home.
