How Many Shots Did Keith Take

Postby friarwolf » Tue Dec 09, 2014 11:07 am

In the second half last night? By my count, he took maybe 2 shots in the first 13 minutes of the second half and one was on the breakaway where he missed the 8 footer. Not finding him as hot as he was last night is just silly.

It is hard to shoot when someone else is taking 20 threes in a row

He still had a great game. Ready for him to start shooting lights out.

Yeah when he is in one of his grooves he just has to shoot more.

Obviously not always his fault...

I was worried KF might have been in a funk last night after being introduced as Sterling Brown.

Exactly, not his fault. If he was on the left, Manuel was looking right and vice versa.....

what are the two transfers providing this year to the team?

Martin for example should not be shooting the ball more than KF. For every one shot he makes it seems like he misses 4 as well. So frustrating. When Nic was out I felt they should have kept going inside more. the only legitimate outside shooters we have IMO are Nic and KF.

I still think they will come around. BenE hit an important 3 and FTs last night. From all accounts, JMart is lights out in practice -- I'm sure his injuries might be stunting his progression a little slower to get used to game time speed (he just seems like a real chill dude - would like to see a little more spark from him down the stretch). I'm still hopeful. But we definitely need them both as reliable shooters and defenders - one thing I'm seeing out of BenE is that he's a pretty strong rebounder for a guard (has strong hands).

Let jmart keep shooting. I'm just happy he's one of the few that doesn't seem to play scared.
