Noticed Michael Young sitting directly behind the UCSB bench. He is a Cali guy and UCSB alum.

I don't remember him being put up on the big screen. Even as an opposing fan, he means a lot to Rangers' fans in this area. Would have been nice to see him get a big welcome.

They didn't even show the reigning Cy Young/MVP Clayton Kershaw against Lamar. Literally everything is lacking this year.

I kinda thought Padron deserved a shout out, too, especially since he was right next to Sterling Moore. (If he got one, I missed it.)

Kershaw asked not to be shown on the video board.

I think if SMU gives celebs sweet floor tickets, it comes with the condition that their appearance on the board is mandatory.

I sent the below article to Hart last year. He replied with a nice email and mentioned he would pass it along. The article explains how MSG handles celebs and the perks given to celebs. There is a give and take between the celebs and MSG.

SMU should implement a similar structure. The DMN 9 times out of 10 writes who was at the game. Like it or not, that press draws positive attention to the program. Not many programs are in the location to draw those types of people consistently and the press that goes along with them.

Good stuff. Agreed. Thanks for passing it on!
