Sorry, I should say "Dallas" fans. Everybody will say that's just the way it is so no problem.

The general lack of understanding and assumptions on this board is amusing. I agree it was too early to leave. I did not leave until after The Varsity. However it might have helped. I have to be at work at 5:00 a.m. or earlier and I live 50 mins from work. I won't lie , I am tired today.

That being said not everyone has my circumstances...

My wife and I live an hour and a half from Moody and we have to get up at 4:00 for work, we stayed the entire game and always do. But yet we're not good enough to have the seats we have. We are bandwagon fans as one poster called us.

Ha try making the drive from Austin. Call the ticket office and they will work with you on the new pricing. They do want actual fans in the seats

Yup. The worst part of this whole thing.

I'm doing my best to enjoy this season but that sour taste just won't go away.

You definitely got us beat! I'll be at the meeting on Thursday for the reseating info.

I think people don't want to get caught in that parking garage. If you hustle you can get out in seconds. If you stroll you might be there 30-40 minutes

This. We typically will leave our seats at the under 2 min mark and watch the rest of the game by the open section by the doors. When the buzzer sounds, we sprint for our car.

I thought staying for the playing of Varsity was a tradition at SMU. I stay every game for it and we're lucky 10% of the people who attend stay. Apparently it is only a tradition if convenient.
