Tennessee center transferring

Postby East Coast Mustang » Sat Dec 13, 2014 8:35 am

Dominic Woodson, a former 4-star recruit who signed with Memphis and then transferred to tennessee is transferring again.

He had taken some time away from program to focus on academics and has already been at two schools so I'm not sure if we'd be interested. He's BIG (6'10" 270 I believe) and would need to drop some lbs to play in Larrys system but if we're not signing any bigs we should probably keep an eye on all potential transfers. He played in a few games this season so I don't think he'd be eligible until the second semester next year

We are in desperate need of a big man for next year so I'm sure we will at least keep an eye on him.
Back off Warchild seriously.

“Dominic has informed me that he wants to transfer to a school where he can have a larger role on the basketball court,” UT coach Donnie Tyndall said in the release.

Doesn't seem like the kind of team player LB would want. He was able to play at UT this year because he got a run-off waiver. His tenure at Memphis included a study hall fight with a football player. Knoxville paper reports that he missed a week of practice because of academics and skipped practice this past week.
