Dear Basketball Season Ticket Holders,

Thank you for your participation in the Moody Seating discussion. We appreciate your willingness to attend the reseating presentation and we truly value your feedback. Because you attended one of our presentations, we wanted to share some updates with you regarding the plan.

Based on comments we received from both the group presentations and individual meetings, we will be making changes to the plan that differ from what was previously outlined to you. The adjustments are highlighted below:

- All season ticket holders will be given the opportunity to renew all of their current season tickets for the 2015-16 year at the new donation requirements. Those who wish to improve their seat locations or move to a different price level, may request to do so in writing. All requests to move will be handled in priority order, by giving level, as inventory is available.
- Up to $1000 of Mustang Club giving may be applied toward minimum donation requirements for both football and basketball season tickets. For example, if you have four seats in Ford Stadium, section 104, requiring a $1,000 Mustang Club gift and four seats in Moody Coliseum, section 207 requiring a total gift of $1,000 ($250/seat X 4 seats), you will only be required to donate $1,000 as the gift can be applied to both sports. If you have four seats in the Stadium Club at Ford Stadium requiring a $2500 donation, and four seats in section 204 at Moody Coliseum requiring a $2000 donation ($500/seat X 4 seats), a $1000 credit from your Ford Stadium donation will transfer to your seats at Moody Coliseum and you will only be required to donate a total of $3500 as opposed to $4500. This credit is the model we use for the suites at both venues and it will now apply to all season ticket holders.

Please note that making these changes will affect the date when we announce the plan publicly to all season ticket holders. While we had intended to provide all details by early this week, communications regarding the new plan will be delayed until the end of this week.

We feel that making these changes address most of the concerns our stakeholders voiced to us throughout the evaluation period. Again, we thank you for your participation and helping us to refine the process that is now more amenable to our valued season ticket holders and donors while also accomplishing a majority of the athletic department’s goals.

Amazing. Pretty much what we all thought was reasonable.

Thank you for listening, SMU.

Sounds like a reasonable middle ground. Hope this alleviates most of the concerns voiced here.

Why would they think that only the limited few that were able to get access to the event would be the ones who would like to know this?

Because technically they are the only ones who know about the plan, right?

Thankfully we have PonySnob to keep us in the loop.

Glad they made the changes but this is what the plan should have been in the first place. All they did was get people angry at them.

There was no plan in the first place. This is the first announced plan to be given out to the public. If everyone would have listened when they said they were getting feedback and nothing had been determined then all the previous bickering would have been avoided. This plan is more than fair and personally I am back in the game by not having to double my donation. YAY!!

But then I wouldn't have anything to complain about...
