I just realized our game is on ESPN2. Our conference tips off early in the day:

Tulane at ECU - 11am on ESPNN
Tulsa at UCF - 11am on ESPNU
Temple at UConn - noon on ESPN2
Houston at Memphis - 1pm on ESPNU
USF at SMU - 4pm on ESPN2

The Temple/UConn game should be really interesting. It's go time!

Thanks for posting this stuff, LA. I think the AAC is going to be much better than folks think. The parity is huge. UConn, Temple, Cincy, and even Memphis could all win it.

You are missing one very important school on your list :D

We ain't winning the AAC. Too many turnovers and not enough hunt in the dog ultimately.

Just my opinion but us and Temple will finish in the top 2.

It should be a great day of American basketball - hopefully capped off by an impressive SMU win over South Florida.

I respectfully disagree oja... we have to be listed with those schools. If we gel it will be awesome. My reasoning to put us in the mix? Look no further than UCONNs natty last year. Out of nowhere to gel and make a good run.

If you exclude us based on performance to date you need to exclude all the others also. No champion this year.

This. If Ojai was a fan of any of the other teams listed I am sure he would be just as critical. No single team has established itself as a clear favorite. That has been obvious.

American MBB @American_MBB
A 25-2 run to close the first half has @GreenWaveMBB ahead of @ecupiratehoops, 35-26.

Houston has dangerous 3-point shooters.

Memphis looks poorly coached
