Memphis hasn't been a very good team this year. A loss to them at Moody would not bode well for the team. Let's get the victory.

The only game that is a must win is a game that might cost us the conference championship. We are good enough to beat every team in the conference, and so therefore nothing is a must win right now.

Yes, can't afford to lose home games.

Since the re-do of Moody no current AAC team has beaten us at home.

And there are several that we cannot seem to beat on the road.

If you won the lottery, you'd be the guy that was mad because if you had waited a couple weeks to win, the jackpot would have been higher

Especially with the word almost in front of it. An "almost must win situation"'is meaningless.

I have a feeling we won't be hearing from TigerJ tonight.

Yeah - it will probably be a RPI 100+ game now.

every game at Moody is "almost" a must win. We are talented enough to win the rest of our home games and might need to do that to have any hopes of an at large bid, but more than anything I want our team to have an attitude of "nobody beats us on our home court". It will help to play to a packed and rowdy Moody again in conference play

Our must win games are now the AAC conference tourney games.

The "must win" stretch is our last 7 conference games:
02/07/15 at Tulsa (ESPNU) * TV Tulsa, Okla. 7:00 p.m. CT
02/12/15 at Houston (ESPNU) * TV Houston, Texas 8:00 p.m. CT
02/14/15 vs. Connecticut (ESPN) * TV Moody Coliseum 8:00 p.m. CT
02/19/15 vs. Temple (ESPN/ESPN2) * TV Moody Coliseum 6:00 p.m. CT
02/26/15 at Memphis (ESPN/ESPN2) * TV Memphis, Tenn. 8:00 p.m. CT
03/01/15 at Connecticut (CBS) * TV Hartford, Conn. 1:00 p.m. CT
03/08/15 vs. Tulsa (ESPNU) * TV Moody Coliseum 2:00 p.m. CT
We need to go 5-2, maybe 6-1 in that stretch to have a shot at the conference title and a bid without winning the conference tourney.
That is a killer last 5 games to end conference with. Very reminiscent of last season. We could, once again, see us go on a huge run in the middle of conference play and then trash the whole season by losing one of those home games and the games at Memphis and UConn.
