Baylor at #1 seems a bit ridiculous, but it's hard to argue we should be there right now.

Texas Southern should be in!

I had Houston at 10 before your post. I checked RPI and TX Southern is 111 and Houston is 249. Plus TSU has wins at Mich St and K-State. They definitely should be ahead of UH.

[deleted] Baylor. They won't be there long. They just went on rankings.

Now if we win the games we're SUPPOSED to (starts tonight), we should move up to #2 very soon. (and I would take much joy in seeing a UT meltdown - if they do - I pray for it every night) :-)

Houston shouldn't even be considered D1 at the rate they are playing

They are really bad right now. I believe Sampson is doing a complete teardown with that roster. They will likely be much improved next season with transfers, similar to Temple this season.

So Texas is an interesting team this year. They are struggling right now as they try and work back in their starting point guard who was hurt for almost a month with a broken wrist but they are potentially a match up nightmare for some teams. Their issue is they don't really have any shooters so if their opponent can clog the interior and has the bodies to throw at their front court it can get rough for them. There will be teams that cannot handle their length at all however.

Hey Midwestern is on a 10 game winning streak without the "exhibition".

Baylor just knocked off #11 ISU so them and Tex should probably be 1 and 2. That road loss to Cincy really hurt us.
