Lazy job by Nichols. Included less than 1/2 of the known facts, sprinkled in a bunch of suspicion, and then tried to link it all to the death penalty to paint that chicken little picture. Basically, a hit piece intended to get screen-looks and raise ad money...and possibly more. While I despise the ethical black-hole that is State U athletics and their fans...they wouldn't stand for a piece like this. Inundate his and DMN twitter feed with references to every other school in Texas or the region with similar issues that they haven't reported on. Send emails. Just overflow their inbox with whatever well written info you have to question their or the NCAA's integrity. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

E.J Holland just did a great job on a 10 minute segment on the Ticket presenting the facts in a fair, reasonable manner without sounding too much like a homer or speculating on the truth of unproven rumors.

I wish that he had pointed out that the only thing for sure we know about in the report is the golf incident, and also wish he had pointed out that we immediately fired the golf coach and haven't reacted to that extreme with basketball, which infers the situations are different.

Once a news story is submitted to the editor, I thought the editor sometimes add/subtract info from the story before it is published. Sometimes without notifying the story writer. Maybe I'm dreaming that. Can someone clarify
