I've watched a few A&M games solely to see him play. Glad he is doing well.

When was Jalen ever not a team player at SMU?? I thought he always played hard and within the system. For whatever reason he chose to leave, but I can't fault him for the way he played while here.

I agree. My impression was that he was a team player right up to the moment he was not on the team.

And watching him play with Danuel House is great. I'm not a fan of A&M at all, but I'll keep tuning in anyway.

Last I checked he wasn't wearing a SMU jersey so I truly couldn't care less.

Rumors were that Jalen left because LB wouldn't guarantee him x minutes per game at y position. So he left.

Rumors are exactly that, rumors. I don't know Jalen and I have no idea why he really left. If you want to run with a rumor as fact, that's fine. Regardless, why he left has nothing to do with how he played while he was here. I saw almost every home game he played at SMU and he always played hard and seemed like a good teammate.

LB publicly said that Jalen wanted guaranteed minutes and that he wouldn't do that, so he left. I'll take LB's word for it. This isn't a rumor. It was from one of the practice report videos posted on here.

It was a substantial change from the situation that Jalen signed on to be a part of, so I don't begrudge him making a change. That said, it was a little strange the way it played out immediately before the TCU game at the AAC, but I'll chalk that part up to miscommunication and/or a college kid's indecisiveness. I'm glad he has found success, even if it is in College Station.

I don't dislike him for transferring. I would have like to see him a few more years, though.

I guess LB stating it dispels what LA considered to be a blasphemous statement on my part.

I remember that interview with Coach Brown before last season started and he said Jalen left after Coach told him he could not promise him he would start and play 30 minutes a game
