LOL...was about to say the same. I have never seen a fan base so resistant to spending $10 on a ticket. That's not a jab at the OP (specifically), it's very wide spread. I know many of us (including myself) give in since we get priority points and more importantly it puts fans in the stands, but damn.

I have been unable to attend a game yet this year. In almost all cases I have given my tickets to someone to use. I got an email from the ticket office the other day saying they notice I had not been using my tickets and wanted me to know I could pass them on to a fan wanting to go. This tells me either it was a generic email or, my tickets I give away are not being scanned.

I hope, in the future, if and when I do give mine to someone they will at least get them scanned for me benefit since I do not charge for the transfer.

That annoys me when I give my tickets away and they don't get used/scanned. Always happy to help, mrydel.

It comes down to family finances and common sense. I've given away enough tickets over the past 25 years to feel comfortable asking for them here and there. And more often than not, fans here take care of each other. If I have to StubHub, that's cool too, but most times many tickets go unused.

And mrydel, I've always scanned your tickets. I'm scared of that Arkansas temper.

I have no reason to believe mine have not been scanned every time. That is why I believe it was probably just a generic email without basis to make sure that tickets were used.
