He is a TERRIBLE in-game coach, but a great recruiter. I could see him going back to his alma mater, U of A, and becoming a top asst before getting another gig.

94 is right. CJP's contract is guaranteed through 2020, with no buyout clause. Word is Memphis insiders are unhappy, but none of the people who can write a buyout check are unhappy enough to do it. His message board/talk radio advocates are saying wait until next year when the Lawson Brothers arrive.

BTW, this is again is the news because of the blow-our last night in Tulsa. Tigers won't be going to NCAA unless they win the conference tourney, and fans are accustomed to making the tourney.

Every school in the country will be trying to get this guy to come in and recruit as an assistant if he is fired. That assumes he wont get a head coaching gig somewhere else too - which he likely will.

With that buy out he aint going anywhere for at least three years - and that is good for us.
