As a common courtesy, maybe you should offer to buy someone's tickets at first, instead of asking for freebies.

I had looked at ticketmaster and they were at $46 each.
Not looking for a handout - was willing to buy. Thanks to those that posted advice. I was able to purchase tix on stubhub.
