One of the players that committed mention how nice it was at Moody. Congrats to the crowd.

Now all we need is boisterous crowds at football games to help basketball recruiting

I predict that we will see a difference. Our crowd reflected our coaches laid back style - which included the slow pace on the field. That pace put our fans in a coma.

This staff with tempo will keep the crowd into the game and we will be challenged to keep up.

You're welcome.

My throat's STILL sore and my voice is just now coming back at 6:30 pm the day after. :-)

I'm with you, I yelled or should say "hollered" most of the evening and mostly at that Jackwagon ref! Well, and all the 3s, too!!!

That tubby older ref was terrible. The guy had no clue. It's not the first time he's called one of our games. He's consistently bad.

The evil cycle that was our basketball and football recruiting circle of death has been turned on its head. Both sports bring in guys interested in the other, for many reasons. A powerful basketball program gets the football players hyped, and vice-versa. Well, come August it is time for the football team and students to pay this one back, and I am sure they will show a distinct level of growth from last year.

I was convinced the refs had money on the game and were trying to keep the lead under 19.

Some of those calls were just ridiculous!

The non calls under the basket right in front of that ref were tough to swallow. I had to restrain LAMustang at one point or there would have been blood.

one of the worst crews of the year. "Hop a long" was the worst. He has to be close to retiring - couldn't make it up and down the court.

good to hear on recruits. I heard they were in the Suite with Morris.

The refs at Tulane were whistle happy, most of our starters had 4 fouls. But yes, the one guy had no clue - lots of non calls which is fine as long as you are consistent. Markus got mugged quite a few times.

He was yucking it up with another ref after one of his many bad calls and it almost sent me over the edge. I was ready to rumble.
