Tickets Still Remaining for tonight?Looks like there are still some listed on ticketmaster. Guessing it's some of the ones they got back from the visiting team, we need to buy these up and make this the loudest game of the season so far!
Re: Tickets Still Remaining for tonight?bunch of non affiliated friends have been asking for tix. should be a good crowd
Re: Tickets Still Remaining for tonight? It's going to be a great game. Shame I have to miss it. Gave my tix to another SMU fan.
Re: Tickets Still Remaining for tonight?Over 215 of them on StubHub starting at $19. There is not a bad seat in the house, so hoping they get purchased and Moody is rocking once again.
Re: Tickets Still Remaining for tonight? There's tickets available everywhere. Demand just isn't there. Hop onto StubHub, tickets are 15 bucks for midcourt. And they're going to raise tickets next year? Who in their right mind would pay $75 face or whatever it is after donation instead of hopping onto StubHub and grabbing tickets on midcourt for $20 bucks?
Fwiw, I think SMU is trying to sell tickets they couldn't sell on the secondary market. I've gotten some rumors and there are magically 2-300 tickets that are made available every two or three days prior to a game. That's not normal. Now one might say people found out they have something else to go to, and listed their tickets but that's too many for every single game. If it were brokers that were flooding the markets, they would've had them listed months ago. So that leaves SMU. Nobody else would have that number of tickets outside of brokers and the university.
Re: Tickets Still Remaining for tonight? There are the same blocks of seats empty every game. Tonight had some of them filled, but there hasn't been a game yet this year where every seat is filled.
I think SMU made a mistake saying it was SOLD OUT for the season. You instantly tell the casual fan in Dallas they shouldn't even bother trying to come. ![]()
Re: Tickets Still Remaining for tonight?
I think they held tickets back thinking they'd capitalize on the market and keep dumping closer to games on the secondary market. And fwiw, you're always going to have empty seats. Kentucky has empty seats even sometimes.
