Not trying to start anything on your board but they also cheered when our guy got injured and the booed when he came back in the game. That was pretty lame, IMO.

That was kinda deserved. He collapses like a sniper shot him out of nowhere, then he gets subbed back in two minutes later.

My first SMU game in the new Moody. I thought the students were amazing tonight and the noise level in the building at the end when we cut the lead to three was deafening. Great venue, too bad the missed FTs and missed shots came back to bite us.

They were yelling "wussy" but with a "p", not "boo". Uncouth but deserved. He was limping so bad and dragging his leg our section thought he had dislocated or completely blown his knee ligaments. Nope. A quick shove at the referee, a seat and a swig of water and he was ready to go back in.
Also, it was totally quiet once he went down on the floor and 50% of the students were holding up the Peruna sign which is a sign of respect during an injury, so not sure what you are talking about with your insinuation that we were cheering his fake-injury.

Yeah, they were booing his shoving of the referee. Then got quiet cause we thought the med evac helicopter would be flown in due to his collapse.

Students were great tonight, atmosphere was palpable in there. The whole crowd really brought it, we just played like [deleted] and got punched in the mouth. Time to bounce back on Saturday.

That was a big time fake injury ..he no more was hurt than the coaches. He wanted a break is all. The crowd saw it and he deserved to be booed. The students were outstanding.

Ellis is a pretty good player but is clearly a graduate of the Tom Mason School of Defensive Line Play circa 2011-2012.
