I hear you on that one. And not trying to minimize the loss either. Just getting ready for the next game a bit early.

PLEASE beat Tulsa.
Whether we like it or not, losing back to back would just fuel bubble talk for us nationally.

Do we/SMU know how to handle being ranked. Man the whole team was super tight. Brown the big scorer.
Moreria and Cunningham could not handle the ball. Marcus - I don't know. Nic just a little off all night.

BEAT TULSA and FOCUS.

We really do have a good team.. They just need to not read the news.

Lose to Tulsa and we're done. B2B losses in this league and we are tourney toast. We do not win conference tourneys, in fact, we tend to underperform. Badly.

We won't be done if we lose to two teams projected to be in the tournament, but we make our path more difficult.
Our saving grace this year is we have no 'bad' losses like USF and Temple then Houston in the AAC tourney.

Met a guy at a bar tonight who was ready to give up his tickets after tonight. Really?!? Get over yourself. This is a good team.

Over. Claimed fandom since 1982 and tonight's game was the tipping point. Really.

I've been doing this for 20 years now and tonight was a few shots away from being incredible. Lots worse to draw from

Tonight was incredible, except we lost.

An unranked team came into Moody on a weeknight, the music was loud, the students and fans were engaged, the place was basically full. Compared to Old Moody, we're still on Cloud 10.

The situation and atmosphere seemed primed for a big performance, but we were just flat out overwhelmed tonight by tough athletes, some lucky shots, some bad calls, but ultimately just poor play. Win Saturday
