Ha! so many times we've seen false proclamations of a "MUST WIN"

I just want to point out this game can correctly be characterized as a MUST WIN in order to be Conference Champs or No. 1 seed. First, we would be 3+ games behind Tulsa with Tulsa having a tie breaker advantage and would drop into a tie with Cincy which has already won the season tie breaker on SMU. Win tonite and we are in better shape than we were last Wednesday since we get Tulsa at Home

Oh and one more point-in this conference SMU can't be confident of an NCAA bid unless they win the AAC or the AAC Tournament. All we can do right now is focus on Option 1-Conference Championship

We certainly can't lose any additional home games this season and we probably need to sweep against either Tulsa or UConn given the perception of how down the conference is this year.

It is a must win. Cincy had a must win on Thursday and picked their game up a notch on the road. Hopefully we can do the same.

First half recovery is key. do we come out pissed and aggressive? Over agressive and turn the ball over? Or do we come out passive?

At the end of the first half if we are getting run out of the building, it will tell you a lot about the psyche of the team. My gut feel is that we are either up 5 at half or down 10.

To be a lock for the tourney, we have to either win the AAC, win the AAC tourney, or finish second in both. it is a must win if we want to compete for the AAC title.
