I was in the 4th row of 109 tonight, two or three sections away from the UH student section. The "F**k you, SMU" chant was their most popular throughout the game. Worst fan base in Texas. Hofheinz is a dump.

Trash college, trash people, trash city. What did you expect?

I was in 109. The F U SMU chant came often .
I could only think how unoriginal it was. Kinda pitiful
That's all they could come up with .
Houston is a great city but UH is pitiful.

My wife (an FSU alum) even commented on the lack of class. But, it is basketball... other teams are pretty bad too.

That was their go to chant. We shut 'em up a couple of times w/our SMU chant.

tulsa did the same thing. I think its a generational thing. They are clueless how bad it comes across

one syllable words are about the best they can do - they went to UH after all.

I was in 110 and I think I was the only one taunting them back.

I yelled something like:
"Come back when you're ranked!"
"Great job! You can spell Cougars!"
*made a 2 5 gesture with my hands
"Check the scoreboard!"
"You're here for extra credit!"

Hope this didn't reveal my identity! Also hope y'all don't label me as classless too! I was refraining my self from swearing!

Tech uses same chant. Student section yelled it at SMU players' parents section in Lubbock.
They get my vote for worst fans.

you have lowered yourself to Houston standards. I lived in Philly 5 years and it's a great city. and I am not from Philly.
