He was definitely non stop but he had good things to say about us and good insight. Is he just starting out? If so, they will teach him to slow down and talk less. If he has been doing this for a while, then he is a little too verbose.

I believe this is his first year announcing. Obviously, the guy is very insightful, so I appreciated listening to him.

Yeah, Calhoun talked too much but it was always good and educational. He sure knows his stuff. Glad he is doing well also.

SMU was the surprise team left out of last year’s NCAA tournament, but the only suspense this time around will be what seed the Mustangs earn. The only team they’ve lost to since Nov. 25 is Cincinnati, which beat SMU twice. UConn had a nice win at home on Thursday night over Tulsa, but the Huskies do not have the inside prowess to score over the Mustangs’ frontcourt tandem of 6’11” senior center Yanick Moreira and 6’9” junior forward Markus Kennedy.
