SMU has beaten your National Champion three straight times. You can stick "bubble team" up your [deleted].

indeed. and for the second year in a row there is no AAC rep on the committee. How do you go through last year and STILL not fix that issue. Goons.

Enjoyed when they put up last year's stats showing the mid 30's BPI and 20's RPI, started to explain how this year was that much better, then pretty much dropped it upon realizing that those stats proved we were hosed last year. Almost half expect the internal NCAA allegations read "investigated for making the NCAA look bad, again."

Kudos to Doris who repeated we were the highest ranked team EVER to not make the tourney. Ever.

Our RPI is actually much higher this year than it was last year. Our RPI last season was 45 which is bubble territory

I just watched the game this AM and came away with a good feel for what Doris is about. She understands the game and points out good commentary, so I am all about her announcing skills. Good job!

Doris complaining every time one of our players celebrated a big play started to get on my nerves. She chastised MK (after block for finger wave) and Nic after the three that rocked moody.

I had no prob with those... In fact - I want to go watch that Nic three one more time right now!

You do know our best player's name is spelled Nic, not Nick, right?

When it comes to SMU athletics and the phrase "act like you've been there before" my response is - what if you haven't been there before?

Exactly...we are still "bad" winners because all those years of frustration may have us overly giddy. I'm not big on the show boating and mocking your opponent, but our two leaders are really emotional guys who just like to have fun and they get caught up in celebrating big moments. It's part of what makes SMU an easy team to dislike. Let's hope the college basketball world comes to hate us...like so many hate Duke

I loved watching those old Tark UNLV teams. They dominated you and put on a show in the process. Nothing wrong with that. The buttoned-up Duke teams provided a stark contrast. But I hated Bobby Hurley, Allah and Co. Give me the bravado, confidence and showboating of the Runnin' Rebs any day of the week.
