SMU Close to Clinching Title By Protecting Home Court

If we beat Tulsa and Temple at home we would have to tie breaker over both-although if Tulsa wins all the rest of their games against tough competition they could still beat us out. We are in the drivers seat if we win our home games
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

Absolutely agree. TU win really narrowed the race down to 3 teams and we have the other two on our home court. Win out and we have it outright. Take care of our house and we win. And the #1 seed in the AAC tourney is a big plus with UConn's only hope of the NCAA tourney is to win it. Better seed puts in a better position to win the tourney.

Beat Temple and we are gold. That would give Temple 4 losses, us 2 with a season sweep. Effectively a 3 game lead. Tulsa will lose additional games from here on out and finish with at least 4 losses as well.
