UConn fans not happy

Not that you would expect them to be, but the UConn faithful are getting really tired of losing to us. Check out some of the threads at The Boneyard - pretty hilarious stuff. They do have respect for LB, but i have not seen this much bellyaching about refs ever. They are also really not fans of Nic!!

Think they will school us in Connecticut - we shall see.

I would be happy if my team got run out of the gym, either. Refs probably gave us some love, but not to the tune of 18 points.

THE BONEYARD has been pretty " fair and balanced" in the past. I think it's just the frustration of this season that's getting to them. They are not just jumping on Nic and the refs, they are eating their young and slaying Ollie too. For a minute there i thought i was reading the Tulsa board. .

And of course.....We're not happy until you're not happy.

NONE of our opponents fans like little Nic. We should just be thankful he's on out team, because we wouldn't like him if he was delivering daggers the way he does so consistently

Let's just hope we don't have to play against Nic next year!!

Blasphemy! Little Nic has to be here to mentor our backcourt of the future

I'm with that last bit. There were favorable calls, but UConn got bulldozed by the better team. No question.

Funny thing about "favorable calls"... when one team is jacking up 25 3 pointers and the other team is pounding it inside, the "favorable calls" tend to favor the team that pounds it inside.

I've jumped on UConn boards to read a few posts after each of the last 3 games and, to be honest, they remind me a lot of Kentucky fans - if they don't get all the calls, they think the refs tried to rig the game against them. That's exactly how Kentucky fans are at Rupp - one of their players could pull out a gun and shoot an opposing player and Kentucky fans would boo if the ref called a foul.

If I wasn't on my phone I would post the official game thread from Reddit. 100+ comments about officiating, some from neutral parties.

Certainly not disagreeing and they got murdered. If it was a 5 point game, maybe b*tching is justified. But not when you get run clean out of the gym like last night.

I don't even think their griping would have been justified in a close game.

They got fewer calls because they gave the refs fewer opportunities to make a mistake in their favor.

You're not going to get a lot of calls when you only attempt 12 shots all night that aren't jump shots. You are going to get more calls when 32 of your 54 attempts are layups, dunks, or tip backs.

We physically overmatch Uconn. Simple as that.
