Way to go out on a limb, EJ (from DMN)

SMU is now 22-5 and appears to be a near lock to make the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1993. A win over Memphis next Thursday would almost ensure that.
I kid. EJ's doing a fine job.

It ain't over until the bids are in. We still have 3 tough games and a poor regular season finish and 1st round AAC Tourney loss could still do this team in. Need to finish strong!

Yeah.
Our SOS is obviously a ton better, but we were pretty much in the same situation last season where we probably only needed to win one of our final three games - and didn't.

Agreed. If we were any other school it would be one thing but we can't afford to leave a smidgeon of doubt.

Our RPI was about 40 at this time last year

He does a blog for the DMN along with being associate editor for Dave Campell's. He mention SMU quite often in his DMN blog. As Ponyboy said he is doing s fine job.
