For those within minutes, couple hours, to a few hours away, who's making the trip? We need a Pony crowd presence like at Tulane and at Houston.

Anyone know of a place we could meet up for dinner at 6 or so before the game?

its a 5 hour drive from atlanta to Memphis - maybe we should blast out a reminder of that to our atlanta alumni board so they can encourage some to make the trip - its a pretty strong alumni group.

Expecting out of town company or I could think about it. What's the walk-up ticket situation expected to be?

Non stop Delta flights from ATL @ useful times:

Flight 2180 MD-80 10:49 AM - 11:08 AM

Flight 1974 Airbus 1:40 PM - 2:15 PM

Flight 1130 B717 3:06 PM - 3:33 PM

On a quick trip like that I'd probably try to stay at the airport, or maybe down to Tunica if I wanted to throw some money on the floor. Nine miles to the game from the airport and thirty-three to the gambling dens from MEM but of course in the opposite direction.

GO Ponies.

There's a robust secondary market on the street before Memphis games. The inventory and price will depend a lot on what happens in the Memphis v. Central Florida game this afternoon.

Just checked and TIcketMaster only has seats in the nosebleed section for $41-- FedEx Forum is over 2x the size of Moody, and in the nosebleeds you watch the game on the big screen. This could change if Memphis loses today.

Last year, when I bought through SMU, I was in the nosebleed and traded ticket and $ for a lower seat.

DON'T stay near the airport -- unless you are looking for nasty hookers or enjoy driveby shootings (NTTAWWT). Stay downtown or anywhere on or near Poplar Ave.

Memphis won at UCF (3rd straight), and now fans on message boards and talk radio are pumped up -- this will increase demand and raise the street price of tickets, but they still will be available.

Terry, the Mustang Club is having a get together from 6-7:30 on Beal Street at Jerry Lee Lewis'. Should be a good time and if you want other food options, there are lots of choices nearby.

On the tickets, not sure if this link will work (it is to the Tigers own ticket site), but there are plenty of options throughout the forum. Mustang bench is near section 106 and there are some options in that section and surrounding sections. A little pricey to sit down low, but would be nice to be like the Tulsa game and have a crew together. See you all Thursday.

Thanks. Look forward to it. Got my tickets from Stubhub the other day. Hopefully we can sneak down to 106.

Bump. Let's have a good showing in the Forum and at the get together before the game at Jerry Lee's.
