Bob Knight T-Shirts

Postby SMU1523 » Fri Feb 20, 2015 4:11 pm

I shared over at ponystampede. Thought i'd share here.

Note: I pulled the Bob Knight cartoon off Google Images, not my original work other than adding the ESPN logo.

Everyone has a gruff but lovable old uncle just like him. In his day he was reportedly sometimes overbearing and abusive, so if true his instincts haven't changed. Despite his confusion regarding some of the facts, I have to say that I always learn a little bit about positioning and the use of the body that I didn't know before.

Just watched the game again. Knight sure does sound like a grumpy old man.

those would sell pretty well. what would be REALLY funny is if he is doing Tulsa - and we can get the entire front row to wear those.

Let me try to find the artist and get consent. I'll try to make it happen. Of course the Swoosh has to go.

Update: I found the artist. His name is Charlie Powell.

I am awaiting his reply. If this is a no go. I will have to figure something else out. I am just too lazy to draw him myself. I could draw him, but this illustration is perfect.

While he was coaching at I.U. I didn't like him but, as a college basketball analyst I think he's one of the best on ESPN.

Watched the replay (I was at the game) I thought he did a great job. He was certainly complimentary of SMU.

I like his commentary but you have to weed through the crazy and the old man rant
