Can I get some help as to where my wife and daughter can go to watch the game in Austin.
Caitlyn is working the South by Southwest festival... otherwise we would be in Dallas.
Help!

I'd come watch with you but I still see you pacing in 104 throwing shoes at June in my dreams

As with most dreams they are contrived in your brain. I softly walked to the wall at 104 and placed my shoes in the field and asked JJ to put them on and walk home. To quit... well, I was a few years early.
Are they nice to SMU people there?

Just put on a little orange and order something with bean sprouts and you will fit right in.

Well the only orange I own is hunting orange, while out in the field, and bean spouts are what come up after planning Kentucky wonder beans.
Wow, may need to look into the home watching party.. . Can I buy the pizza and beverages?

There is a good sports bar on the north side of west 6 th. I forget the name of it but it has huge garage type doors that open up out to the patio. Has a taco food truck outside. About two dozen beers on tap. It may be hard to find a place to watch the game other than whete you are staying as there is continuous live music EVERYWHERE.
This will be my first year in awhile NOT going to SX.....I'll be in Hartford!!

Isn't the game at 11am central time not 1:30? I see it on the American website as noon which I believe is eastern time.

Yes, it's at 11 AM Central Daylight Time on Friday. Cover 3 is a great place but what they call their "downtown" location is almost all the way to MoPac. Happily, you don't really need a sports bar to get ESPN at 11 AM Friday when the Big XII isn't playing their semis until that evening. If you want to be walkable from South By locations, the bar in the brand-new JW Marriott at Second and Congress will have the game. So will Fado, on Fourth one block west of Congress. And a million other places nearby.

I chose Cover 3 to get him away from the SXSW crowd as they could care less about any sports and it is still close to downtown

Where is the PF watching party so I can avoid that place? If I'm
not standing and yelling during a commercial break I may get called out for being a soft fan.
