Trying to make travel plans ---- what cities are most likely?
Omaha
Louisville
seem likely but what is everyone thinking?
Surely we can rule out:
Seattle
Portland
Pitt (maybe)

If we aren't a top 4 seed, then we are not guaranteed to play in a location in close proximity to SMU.

Having followed Duke to several first-round sites: NO, DO NOT DO THIS. Even aside from the fact you don't know where SMU will go, there are two big reasons: (1) it is important for SMU to sell out its allotment, and it will be a lot more fun for you to be in the SMU section; and (2) even if SMU does sell out its allotment and you do not make the cut, after-market tickets will still be available. I've gotten them a few days in advance to Duke first- and second-round games in Greensboro.
Oh, and Harry is absolutely correct: you can't rule out anywhere.

Several sources have suggested Jacksonville. One I saw said Louisville.

Won't know until Sunday. I'm pulling for Jacksonville (and then, of course, Houston!).

At $900 a seat you're probably in King Air charter territory if you can fill the plane-- about three hours and no security.
Bring your own booze and peanuts.

columbus seems like a decent option as well if we remain in the 6 seed range, there a 2 3 seeds looking like they might be heading there according to lunardi.
i got an email from the athletic dept as a season ticket holder and MC member to request tickets through SMU, i'm guessing if you called the Mustang Club and joined they would probably let you go ahead and request tickets through the SMU block.
it did say my tickets weren't guaranteed but guessing they would let people know by monday

yeah but you have to realize that louisville will have kentucky at their site and their fans have known that for a year, they will overrun the city and drive up the prices for everything

1. Like everyone has said, no one will know until Sunday. Buying something now is foolish.
2. If you feel like to doing some advance scouting, the only thing you have to go by are the prediction brackets. They have had us either in Omaha or Louisville for the past month or two. But that means nothing, honestly.
