Was pleasantly surprised to learn it wasn't just rotating between Uconn and Memphis.

Amway Center, Orlando, FL

Orlando is better than Connecticut, NO, dallas, and Houston should host as well.

Should be in Orlando every year if it's not Dallas.

Why Orlando? It's driving distance for only two of the conference's worst basketball programs (USF and UCF). It makes little sense to have our tourney there. I think Dallas makes a lot of sense- driving distance for SMU, UH, Tulsa, Memphis, and Tulane fans, and two airports where you can fly direct into from just about anywhere.

Geographically Memphis makes the most sense.

Do you really want us all sleeping in your home?

Because it's Orlando. Disneyworld. The tournament should be in a festive atmosphere as sort of a 'reward' for those there. Why are the super bowls all usually in warm, fun places. Same idea. Plus, pretty much every major airport has direct flights to Orlando. And it's on east coast. Pretty obvious.

I can pitch tents in the yard and borrow Huckabee' triple wide.

We may clamor for Dallas but I'm not sure SMU shares the same level of interest. Has SMU EVER bid on the conference tournament (WAC, CUSA or AAC)? Do they plan to bid? Has Tulane bid?

That being said, I'm already planning on attending next year's tournament in Orlando.

We sell out every game now, so we should put in a bid.
