How does the NCAA keep SMU out of the tournament after winning the regular season AAC title, finishing the season with a 27-6 record, AND winning an automatic qualifier as the AAC tournament champion?

We'll find out soon enough.

Haha, they have decided during the course of today that the American does not get an automatic birth, except to the NIT.

LOL, yeah. I thought about that.

If I was on the team and a reporter asked me "How does it feel knowing you're going to the tourney?" I'd respond with

"Well, we'll keep our fingers crossed and hope they can find room for us this year" with a straight face.

Last time I heard the b12 thought it was too clever and didn't have a conference title game. There was no one b12 champion in football last season

We should be a 4 seed with arguments for a 3 seed.

Should have been a 4 or 5 but not complaining this year. Temple and Tulsa should be complaining. They got royally screwed.
