Had a feeling that Iowa state was the second best team in the b12. Felt WV was overrated. Tx is arguably whether they should be in. Most likely not.

Their best non conference game was against Arkansas. Beating Kansas was impressive but this Kansas team is way down this year. I think this is a great opportunity for us against the b12 tournament champs and believe we should have a lot of confidence. But let's beat the [deleted] out of ucla first!

Honestly if smu was going to make a dream run this is the bracket to do it. ISU relies on finess big mans and getting out on transition to shoot threes. We should be able to pound inside and play good transistion defense. Gonzaga IMO is the best team in the bracket. It will be a tall task for us to beat them but last time we played we were without mk and it was early in the season on their home court. I'm not scared of duke at all. we have the bodies to contain okafford (especially if we can get him in foul trouble) and their guards are younge and not that good.

I want to win 1 game, sweet sixteen would be a dream, and anything beyond would be legendary.

I like our chances in the first two games, and the matchups look reasonably favorable...beyond that would be gravy.

SMU will go to Louisville on Thursday to play UCLA. That's all I know. So thankful to be here finally.

You do realize you just said ISU relies on getting out on transition to shoot threes. Is there any more worrying a thought for us than a team that concentrates on that, based on the fact that people for some reason seem to shoot well from beyond the arc against us (whether they win or lose). I love the confidence. 1 game at a time.

I appreciate all the sunshine and predictions of deep runs, but I think this UCLA game will be tougher than people think. Not saying we lose, but need to take it one game at a time. Not like we have a lot of wins against tournament-bound teams.

man UCLA scares me - I think we lose to them. we don't have tourney experience and they're a big time program. I sound negative as hell but it's just a gut feeling

This team doesn't [Deleted] the bed like SMU teams in the past. So, being a battered wife, I am fighting the urge to panic. But I have faith in LB and this team and I think we get to the sweet 16. Too bad we could run into Gonzaga so early - I would love to play Duke.

UCLA won't be a cake walk and Iowa St is a HUGE challenge especially if the B12 is as good as everyone says it is. One game at a time indeed though. It's going to be a very anxiety-ridden few days (hopefully weeks) for me and I LOVE it!!!!

Iowa State is a terrible match up for us. I think we beat UCLA and fall to Iowa State on their way to a Final Four.

I pray that we get to Houston; it could be epic because I believe that the entire SMU alumni base would go.
