I loved reading this about how UCONN fans now feel about SMU ...http://the-boneyard.com/threads/now-that-its-all-said-and-done.74410/They are not natural rivals but I am pretty much to the hate point with SMU.
It disgusts me how SM freaking U is owning us in basketball. They even beat us in the Toilet Bowl in football! That was supposed to be one of our few wins this past year.
And the final straw was hearing their Barber Shop dressed band taunting us with NIT chants at the end.
I hate SMU.

Also, watched the "I hate Laettner" 30 for 30 last night. They spent some time on why the UNCs, Wakes, NCSUs hate Duke. I want to be hated like that.

Nice to have a good rival if you want to call it that. We virtually own them in football and basketball with the exception of one game
