Congrats to the Golden Hurricane

No sarcasm at all.

They're out of the first round in the NIT, and as we know... willing in the NIT bodes well for the program.

Better teams make for a better conference. I'm rooting for them (and UConn and Temple) all the way.

AAC winning the NIT would be a nice talking point.

I'm definitely rooting for Tulsa, UConn, and Temple. As well as Cincy. All of them are, willingly or not, our AAC brothers. I loved the Ponies' dominance in the conference this year (except over Cincy), but its better for the conference to have many strong programs. It was awesome last season when the AAC had 5 teams in the top 25, put 4 teams in the NCAA tourney, won more tourney games than any other conference, and ended up with the men's NCAA champ, women's NCAA champ, men's NIT runner-up, and women's NIT champ.

I want the Ponies to win it all every year of course. But I'm definitely rooting for Tulsa, UConn, Cincy, and Temple any time they aren't playing us. And I'm definitely rooting for Memphis, and even UH, to right their respective ships next season. I want the AAC as a whole to get back to the 2013-2014 version, but with SMU winning it all. :)

Hopefully we can get our revenge on Cincinnati in the NCAA tournament.
