Has us ranked 20th out of the field of the tourney in terms of upsetting the Wildcats. Pretty complimentary if you ask me.

I do think we would match up well against them.

Who does, and which platoon?

The amount of people calling us cheaters and calling for Larry's head would sky rocket if we were to do so. Would be pretty funny (and a lot of fun) to watch.

Honestly, though, we're one of the few teams that has the size (6'11," 6'10," 6'9," 6'8") to not be overwhelmed by Kentucky. Couple that with solid defense and a great coach, and I think we'd be competitive with them if we were to meet (which would be in the national championship game). Much stranger things have happened in college basketball....

Arizona could...Villanova perhaps. Kentucky is deep as well as talented. Seems to me that a team would have to have all the stars aligned, and have UK catch an off night. They ARE that good.

SMU has the size, but not the bench to match them. I watched A&M nearly pull it off this year at Reed, and the thing that UK did was eventually wear them into paste at the end of the overtime. The Aggies simply had no one on the bench left. Whoever gets them on their down game better have a bench to finish the job.

Texas Western has no chance with these guys, whatsoever.

I think if we had more of a 3 point presence on offense then we could pull off the upset against them... but we don't...

As for teams that I think could beat them though
1.) Arizona
2.) Gonzaga
3.) Notre Dame

This

This is also going to be a problem against ISU, if we both take care of business today.

Most of ISU's these come from transition. We are very good at transition defense they do not get as many good looks from a half court.

Larry said you could split Kentucky in 2 and both teams would be in finals

If we had Frazier and Mudiay, I think we would have a shot. Without additional outside shooters to keep everything honest, I think they would take our big guys out of the game.

Funny story: Back in the day, the UCLA Varsity team won the National Championship (again) pretty easily. But, the UCLA Freshman team was better than them. Why: Lew Alcindor was a freshman.
