Losing some height next year but gaining some shooters

Barefield and Shake can knock down some 3's and take it to the rack. But we are losing our 2 tallest players that are 6'10 and 6'11 which would come in handy when playing a team like Gonzaga or Cincinnati next year. It will be interesting to see how the team blends together next year will all the new players.

We will be better next year if all that can come back do.

And if we are not slammed with sanctions/postseason bans.

More shooting help is on the way, plus Kennedy (pray he's back) and Tolbert are going to be a nasty tandem down low

Why does everyone act like we are going to lose nic and MK?

People are concerned about mk because of academics and his age. People are worried Nic will transfer (he will graduate so could be immediately eligible) because of potential post season bans.

We will not get post season ban and who has confirmed Nic will graduate?

gotcha. I would think a loss like this would go a long way in helping to make that decision. As fierce of competitors as they are I would think they would be chomping at the bit to come back. But 1 year is a long time

Lack of Frazier, shooters just killed us. Ben E and Ben M and ..., just didn't want to take the shot.

It would have helped to have more shooting but the team played well enough and was good enough to win.

Somebody said he won't - not that it is any of our business.

I am optimistic as usual the sanctions will be trivial, Larry will be back, and MK/Nic will be back as well. Next year will be fun!

I just think that neither one have been very hot lately and did not want to miss.

I'm as upset as everyone else but after watching that team today I'm not sure how far we would have gotten in this tournament. We could have beaten UCLA and UAB but we probably would have lost to Gonzaga. It was obvious UCLA knew our weakness was outside shooting. Now, everyone doubles MK in the post because when he kicks it out, if it's not going to Nic Moore, the shooter can't shoot.

With KF back plus if one of the freshman proves he has long range, we will be significantly better. I do wonder if it's possible for us to get a transfer as we desperately need a Center. MK and Tolbert won't be enough down low.
