The entire team should be very proud of the accomplishments they made this year. Very proud of them and I have no problem talking [deleted] to any other team. We can go toe to toe with anyone. all the seniors will be missed.

I hope this is the start of a very long run of success for our program. Tough way to end things this year, but there is a lot to be proud of...Hopefully they can build and be even better next year.

Agreed...Our team should be very happy with what they have accomplished. This bb season has been the brightest spot for SMU sports in many years. Moreover, SMU was better this year than last year. Hopefully this could be the start of something big. (sounds like a song is coming)

Thank you so much to the team, especially the seniors, Coach Brown and his staff and all the the supporting caste that made this our most successful basketball season in over 20 years. It was a hard way to go out last night, but everyone should be proud of our accomplishments and hungry to get back to the Tourney next season.

Great Season! I really appreciate the hard work of the coaches, players, and everyone involved in SMU bball. It makes being a fan a great experience.

Excited about next year and I will try to focus myself on that rather than dwell on one bad call (easier said than done). Proud of how the players and coaches have handled it, they demonstrated true class. These moments are awful, but wonderful opportunities to show and teach character.

We had a great year and deserved a better fate. Next year will be fun. Oh and LB, get well. Don't want to lose you to that mucus monster.

Yeah, this year's edition was great. I'm really going to miss seeing #1 driving to the hoop and throwing down oops on the break. Manuel is one of my favorite players in a while.

You wanted something good to happen to this loveable team yesterday. We all did. From the little Curtis Cullwell Center in Garland to the big stage yesterday, Larry Brown and his kids have overcome so much adversity, we all thought they could do it one more time. They almost did.
My heart is broken today but it is also filled with pride. I've been a fan of SMU basketball since the Sonny Allen days and I've never felt so emotionally attached to any team as much as this one, it's almost like they are family. I guess that's why yesterday hurt so bad and still does. At the same time, the future is so bright. I truly believe Larry Brown will ultimately take the Mustangs to the mountain top and someday soon we will all be celebrating a National Championship on the Hilltop. Till then, I'm hanging in there.

The last two basketball seasons have been the most fun I have had following SMU sports since our pre DP football success. Thanks to every player who believed in Larry Brown and SMU. I can't wait until next year!
