I have been saying the Big 12 is overrated all season. They finally proved my argument.

Alford 80% 3 point shooting including from the parking lot and with 2 guys in his face takes the embarrassment factor out of the equation. If anybody had told you Alford would be that red-hot before the game then UCLA would have been a prohibitive favorite to win

My UCLA friends can't stand Alford (the player). They think he's terrible, which he has been most of the year. But of course, he careers against us.

Almost doesn't matter what big 12 does today. 2 of top three teams got waxed in round one. Both that means the conference is overrated and didn't deserve as many slots as they got
