It's ridculous that play is not reviewable.

Im sure raiders fans love that the Tuck Rule is named in honor of their afc title game. We now get to join this elite club

I don't believe they would have overturned the call anyway. Too close to be overturned, just shouldn't have had a ref with no angle make a bad call in the first place.

Even though that was not a goaltend under the rules, for the sake of argument, if technically it was, you don't make the call on game point. Call it earlier if you want, but not on game point. I was more upset about the pass anyway - it was like Cannen forgot he has a heii of a shot

Cannen hols the ball and gets fouled. We win.

Completely agree. You simply don't make that call at that juncture of the game.

what really hurts is that after the snub, we didn't play well enough to reinforce our point that we DID belong last year...and certainly this year. I really hate losing to the team very few thought deserved to be in the tourney

Don't worry Verne Lundquist just reminded America that the committee got it right after all as UCLA breezed to the first sweet 16 spot in the 2015 NCAA March Madness, UCLA and its storied tradition really did belong? who knows but they are now enjoying our sweet 16 spot in Houston. Of course there was no mention of SMU...

But he did compare Steve Alford that Hick and his white trash sons with John Wooden

Verne needs to be put out to pasture.

Absolutely right! Toward the end for a g game, umpires/referees should forget about the rules the game is played under, and let them do whatever they damn well please. Let 'em play. When that "juncture of the game" comes, all holds barred.

he is already there - he just doesn't know it.

Why is it all these announcers always stay around 5 years longer than they should? There needs to be an intervention with almost all of them over 65.
