Kansas State sophomore star Marcus Foster has been dismissed from the program, the school announced Tuesday night.

Foster, a member of the preseason all-Big 12 first team and an all-Big 12 honorable mention in 2014-15, was suspended three games in February for violating team rules. His minutes, points, assists, 3-point and overall field goal percentages were all down this season compared to last year. He averaged 12.5 points per game for Kansas State this season.

Foster overcame the odds after failing to attract many Division I offers out of high school. The Wichita Falls, Texas, native wasn't even a top-10 prospect in his own state.

Must have been really bad to get kicked off the team. With the hardship rule change, he couldn't play for us next year anyways.
