"Stephen F. Austin (142 miles), Southern Methodist University (240 miles) and Alabama-Birmingham (667 miles) had a chance to play in the South Regional games here but were all eliminated in the early rounds of the Tournament."

Well, I bet about 10,000 of us SMUers would have been there. Their loss... I wonder how many UCLA will bring.

No doubt we would have had 10k plus. Screw the television ratings, we would have owned Houston this weekend.
