The NCAA has announced that whoever wins out the final four will have an asterisk by their name this year. The announcement was the closest that the NCAA can come to admitting that SMU was screwed by the officials at the end of the UCLA game. An NCAA official was quoted 'we realize that the officials made a grievous error by calling the goaltending on SMU. Since there was nothing we could do the change the outcome of the game, we decided that the fairest thing we could do was to put an asterisk next to the name of the 2015 champion (already decided that it will be Kentucky). This is recognize that SMU should have been in the championship game and quite possibly would have won the game, if we hadn't already decided that it was more important for Kentucky to win.'

Is this April Fools Day or what?

I was about to forward this to all of my friends and relatives to prove that SMU should
have won the UCLA game but then - I thought about it a minute and said - "Naw"
I'll wait for the official announcement.
