Probably, yes.
My second pick would also involve Yanick: "Trailing by one with less than five seconds to play, SMU had a chance to take the lead, but junior center Yanick Moreira was called for a travel to give Virginia the ball." Reference:
Yahoo! Sports: Virginia 76, SMU 73If that plays out differently, this doesn't happen:

The high school game play when I got kicked in the head that caused the injury that eventually ended my SMU playing career and has me in much pain this very moment.

Going way back I think it was the Arkansas game where Walker was hurt and then unable to play against ND. Stories circulated at the time the Arkansas players had a pool up that went to player responsible.

Ouch. That'd be my first choice too then.

I would make the field goal against Arkansas in 1982 good. 20-17 win, and 12-0 assuming victory over Pitt in the Cotton Bowl.

Super Bowl XVII.
Ray Finkle's kick was wide right because that chump Marino had the laces in. We all know the Dolphins lost the game because of that kick and Finkle's career was over. So sad.

Such a tragic moment in movie lore.

From Long Ago -- Larry Davis (SMU) not blocking out on Patrick Ewing (Georgetown)
on a free throw miss. If he had blocked out properly, SMU most likely beats Georgetown
in the NCAA tournament - so I would like to see the block out.
Secondly - SMU playing Utah in WAC tournament final - SMU leads with one second left
in game - Utah has an inbounds play under their basket. Everyone in the building knows
that Keith Van Horn is going to get the ball, probably on a lob pass. Coach Shumate of
SMU could have packed the area around the basket and put his leapers on defense, but
he goes with his standard defense - the ball is lobbed and Van Horn tips it in - SMU loses.
Please change that play.
This year - SMU leads UCLA in final seconds of the game. UCLA has just scored and goes into
a press - Cannen Cunningham is double teamed and throws a bad pass which is picked off -
leading to UCLA scoring again and then to a loss with the goal tending call. The change would
be for Coach Brown to call a time out before the throw in after the UCLA score and to
design a play to get the ball to Nic (and not CC) The most likely outcome of this change
is that we win the game, we move on to beat UAB and move on to play Gonzaga in the
Sweet 16.
I know we were supposed to mention only one play - but All of these have been real
downers over the years and I just had to vent.
