Before the game, Fisher was asked about SMU coach Larry Brown’s remark that Kentucky would make the Eastern Conference playoffs. Of course that insinuation is Kentucky could handle the league’s worst team, the Knicks.
“Obviously Larry is an accomplished coach and has a feel of the game on both levels,’’ Fisher said. “He’s entitled to his opinion. College kids are great. High school kids are great. But these are still grown men. Whether they could or couldn’t, who knows? It’s fun to talk about.â€

The Washington Generals would beat the Knicks. Fisher and Phil need to shut up.
