That's kind of how I'm feeling. I'm sure the guys have the same expectations or higher. Let's get a big and keep everyone healthy and do this thing!

Assuming everyone returns, we will have Sweet 16 talent next year. Of course, we had Sweet 16 talent this year, but just got a tough break against UCLA.

I love our team, and these last 2 seasons have been the best in forever, but we are not successfully recruiting the type of kids who can win the tournament yet. We almost hit with Emmanuel, but that didn't work out and I'm not sure where our next act comes from.

Agreed. If we stay about where we're at, I think we have what it takes to make the tournament regularly and compete for the Sweet 16. To confidently move beyond that, we'll need to take yet another step.

Where did Nic and Markus say they were both returning? I know it's what we wish for on here, obviously.

The caveat "Assuming everyone returns" appears frequently in this thread. I think we are all hoping (but not yet taking it to the bank) that assumption is correct.

Nic is staying and everything points to Markus returning as well.

We need more skill and a few kids that can get their own shots, folks that won't allow us to slump on O. That's what will propel us. Our teamwork and defense are legit. Wisconsin isn't exactly chock full of top 20 kids, but you can win a title if you live in the 25- 120 range

I was more talking about the CBS link...with Nic and Markus in the "Notable players expected to return," part.
