So this is kind of cool...Nbadraft.net, one of the most reliable websites for NBA draft coverage and mock drafts, has Markus Kennedy going 49th in next year's draft.

They're in the 2015 draft.

Notice we will be playing 2 lottery picks next year:
#7 Daniel Hamilton of UCONN
#11 Domantas Sabonis

Also a few 2015 kids on there that LB was in on for a while. The talent he is getting around this program is incredible.

We're going to have our hands full with Witjer and Sabonis (and without Semi). Hopefully our guards can outplay their guards and we net out ahead. (oh and that other giant center who looks like he just got off the couch who's sneaky athletic and a freakin' load).

FYI - Personally prefer DraftExpress, as I believe their analysis is more up to date/informative/accurate.

I think a big detractor is the fact that he will be 24 next year when he comes out.

Maybe it's just me but I think MK has decent hops for a guy his size.

not a great standing jumper-but I agree he can get down the floor and when he gets momentum he can get off his feet.

I wasn't that impressed with the other big guy. Didn't seem like you could fit a sheet of paper under his shoes when he jumped. Seemed like a good passer for a big guy, but I didn't see a lot else that impressed me. Of course, that could be my lack of bball knowledge talking.

We will definitely have matchup problems with Wiltjer and his ability to spot up from 3. But who doesn't... Sabonis looks like quite the talent as well.

49th in next year's draft seems like a best case scenario to me. I would be thrilled. Markus gets one more chance to improve himself and make noise in the tournament and gets a legit shot in the NBA without having to start out overseas anywhere or in the NBDL.
